Emergency Preparedness

One of the safest places for your child to be is in school. Even though major incidents at schools are rare, it is important that schools and District staff plan, prepare and be vigilant. Each of our schools conduct regular emergency preparedness drills with students and staff to assure that everyone is ready and prepared, should an incident occur. In accordance to House Bill 4713 all schools in Michigan are required to perform emergency preparedness drills and exercises throughout the year to test their emergency readiness. Below you will find the type and date a drill was completed. For the safety of our students and staff and to maintain higher degree effectiveness in preparing, we will only post drills after the drills are completed.
