Our Mission
The Bessemer Friends and Alumni, in support of the Bessemer Area Schools, are dedicated to fostering positive academic, social, and emotional growth by providing expanded opportunities and resources for all students. Through scholarships, activity support, and project funding, we help ensure every student can succeed and thrive.

Friends and Alumni is the Bessemer Foundation. We are committed to expanding access and opportunities for all students by providing resources that go beyond traditional school funding.
Where will the donations go?
Extra Curriculars such as Science Olympiad, Quiz Bowl, and Show Choir.
Scholarships for Seniors
Classroom Projects-for example, Friends and Alumni bought the English Department at Bessemer Tom Pelissero's book, Bring One Home, so every student graduating from Bessemer can read this book.
