The Wakefield Bessemer Rotary Club recently heard a presentation from Ashley Oliver-Igl, who is organizing a Youth football league in Bessemer for students in the Third thru Sixth grade. After the presentation, Mrs. Oliver-Igl, right, accepts a $100 check from Kevin Everson, Club President, left, to support the effort to organize a Flag football league for area youth.
ATTENTION ALL KINDERGARTEN FAMILIES!
The Health Department will be having a vision and hearing screening in Bessemer on Thursday August 1 thru Friday August 2nd. The times will be 8am-4pm on Thurs August 1st and Friday August 2nd the times will be 8am until 2pm. Please alert the parents of the upcoming kindergartners in need of screening prior to kindergarten entry. please call the health department at 906-482-7382 Ext 171 to set up an appointment for the upcoming clinic.
