Always a fun day at the library!

May the 4th be with you!

Sixth grade students had an absolute blast at the Northern Lakes Impact Center in Rhinelander yesterday! Activities included: outdoor survival, zip line, high ropes course, archery, and riflery.

Students in Mrs. Nyquist's 3rd grade class have been growing tomato plants to learn about pollination for their Bee Cause.

Such a fun and educational project for Mrs. Greenough's first grade students - Candeling Chicken & Duck Eggs.

We will be closed on Monday, 5/1/23 due to continuing inclement weather.

A big thank you to Doug Foley for his Arbor Day presentation to our 4th graders AND for his photosynthesis song!

Ms. Jarvela’s 6th grade class has been fundraising all year long for a class trip. They decided to go to the Lake Superior Zoo in Duluth, MN. The 6th graders met an armadillo, tortoise, and ball python, while they explored many more animals on their own zoo tour.

Yes, a snowman...in April...

Heard of the Hungry Caterpillar? Apparently there is an impatient one also.
Miss Toth's 2nd grade students read "The Impatient Caterpillar" then created their own.

Making umbrellas....how appropriate.

It was a great day to be outside with reading buddies. Seen here are students in Ms. Toth's 2nd grade class and Miss Jarvela's 6th grade class.

What an amazing day we had with Katie Urban, Park Interpreter with the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park. Through games and discussion, students learned how they can help protect the water of the Great Lakes. Younger students also joined in on a "porcupine hike". We can't say enough about her fantastic presentations!
