Students in Mrs. Williams's kindergarten class got an early start on their Easter Baskets today.
Students in Miss DiGiorgio’s 2nd grade class participated in a “Hermit Crab Handling and Care” workshop hosted by Miss Jarvela’s 6th grade class. 2nd grade students were able to hold the 6th grade class pets-hermit crabs. They were also given the opportunity to feed African dwarf frogs. The 6th grade students were able to work on their public speaking skills while presenting their knowledge on hermit crabs and African dwarf frogs.

It was quite the exciting time today when 2nd grade students played Sight Word Stack.
Due to the predicted inclement weather, the Bessemer Area Schools will be closed on Friday, March 17, 2023.
