Our kindergarten students were very busy today, making Christmas crafts.

First and fifth graders worked together today to create ugly sweaters.

It's a pajama and socks kinda day.

Reminder that tomorrow, December 21, 2022, is an early dismissal day. School will be dismissed at 11:17 AM.
Christmas break will run December 21, 2022 (at 11:17 AM) through January 2, 2023.

Tomorrow, December 21, 2022 is the last day of school before Christmas Break.
It is very important that the students attend school on this day as we need to meet the minimum requirement for attendance. In the event we do not have enough students at school, we will need to make up a day in the month of June, extending the school year longer into Summer Break.
Thank you for making every effort to attend this last day of school this year. All students will be dismissed at 11:17 am.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Thank you Key Club members for helping us make Christmas cards for nursing home residents.

No offense intended but we've seen some ugly sweaters around here.

Share some holiday cheer next week

Students in Mrs. Toth's 2nd grade class were very busy this week. They read "The Christmas Tree Ship" by Carol Crane. a story based on the "Rouse Simmons" which transported Christmas trees from Manistique, MI to Chicago, IL. The ship sank on its final voyage in November of 1912 in Lake Michigan. They also read "Who will help Santa this year" with their reading buddies from Ms. Jarvela's class. Then they wrote a story describing what would happen if Santa's sleigh was pulled by dragons. Of course, they also made Christmas trees.
