Kindergarten students had special visitors from the DNR today to discuss animal tracks in the winter.

Here is our February 2023 Lunch Menu. Please remember that the menu is subject to change as needed due to supply chain issues.

Students in Miss Jarvela's class had fun learning about volcanoes. They had the opportunity to learn about lab safety, which included how to properly conduct an experiment and wear safety goggles. They learned about the reaction that baking soda, vinegar, and dish soap makes. The 6th graders used their skills to work as a team and create paper mache volcanoes for science.

Kindergarten students in Mrs. Thull's class had a special visitor recently. Thank you, Deputy Smith, for reading to our students.

Snack milk reminder for January

Happy New Year!
As a reminder, the Bessemer Area School District is closed tomorrow, January 2, 2023, in observance of New Year's Day. School will resume for all students on January 3, 2023.

Reminder that Christmas Break began yesterday (December 21) and runs through January 2, 2023. School will resume on January 3, 2023. Have a great break and be safe!

Our kindergarten students were very busy today, making Christmas crafts.

First and fifth graders worked together today to create ugly sweaters.

It's a pajama and socks kinda day.

Tomorrow, December 21, 2022 is the last day of school before Christmas Break.
It is very important that the students attend school on this day as we need to meet the minimum requirement for attendance. In the event we do not have enough students at school, we will need to make up a day in the month of June, extending the school year longer into Summer Break.
Thank you for making every effort to attend this last day of school this year. All students will be dismissed at 11:17 am.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
