Just a reminder that tomorrow, Friday, February 2, 2024 is an early dismissal day for the Bessemer Area School District. Students are dismissed at 11:17 a.m. and buses will run their normal routes.

Ashley Dennis, 4H coordinator, did an activity with both 2nd grade classes. Students made a boat with aluminum foil then tested the boats in water. They added pennies to see how much they could add before the boat sunk. Penny quantities ranged from 4 to 121. Students then discussed why some held more than others. What a great experiment!
