Sports Physicals for the 2025-2026 school year are set to take place on Friday, May 9, 2025. The cost will be $25. Physicals are required for students who are currently in grades 5-11 and plan to participate in SCHOOL SPONSORED sports during the 2025-2026 school year. Current 5th grade students who are entering 6th grade next year will be eligible to participate in junior high sports next year and will be required to have a physical.
Any physical performed on or after April 15th, with the correct MHSAA Physical Form completed and on file at school, will cover the entire 2025-2026 school year. We are pleased to partner with Dr. Rocco to offer this economical option for all of our student athletes.

Due to the weather and road conditions, the Boys Regional Semi-Final game will be moved to Thursday 3/6/2025 with a game start of 5pm our time at Houghton High School.
School will still be dismissed today at 1:00 p.m. and buses will run their normal routes.
We have a Pep Bus for Bessemer Students in grades 6-12 to ride and cheer on the Speedboys as they take on Dollar Bay in the Regional Playoff Game on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 in Houghton. Projected departure time is between 2:00 and 2:30 p.m.
This is a reminder that we have an early dismissal on March 14th. Students will be dismissed at 11:17am. Busses will run their normal routes.

Wednesday, April 9, 2025 will now be a regular school day with normal hours, NOT an early dismissal day.
