The 5th grade class had a PAWsitively good time at Wildwood Wildlife Park in Minocqua, Wisconsin🐾🐢 Students were able to learn animal science hands on at the interactive zoo.

Mr. Goss and Mrs. Carvers 4th Graders took a trip to the Ottawa National Forrest Visitor Center and Toumey Nursery in Watersmeet yesterday. Students learned about Michigan's logging history and current conservation practices

Our Show Choir attended the State Solo and Ensemble Festival at the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh on Saturday, April 26th. They did an amazing job and earned a 1 rating- the highest possible score! Bella Gaiser and Savannah Ossanna also qualified for States with their solos, and scored a 2. We are very proud of all of their hard work!
The Show Choir students also had a great time at Olive Garden, doing some shopping, relaxing in the pool at the hotel, and of course, spending time with their friends.
It was a great trip and wonderful way to put a close to their 2024-2025 Show Choir season. If you’ve missed their performance, you have one chance left to see them at the 5th-12th grade Spring Choir Concert on Tuesday, May 13th at 6pm at ADJ.

Mrs. Nyquist's third graders became Friends of the Iron Belle Trail! They partnered with Enni Gregas, an IBT representative to learn about the trail and help clean it up!

Sports Physicals for the 2025-2026 school year are set to take place on Friday, May 9, 2025. The cost will be $25. Physicals are required for students who are currently in grades 5-11 and plan to participate in SCHOOL SPONSORED sports during the 2025-2026 school year. Current 5th grade students who are entering 6th grade next year will be eligible to participate in junior high sports next year and will be required to have a physical.
Any physical performed on or after April 15th, with the correct MHSAA Physical Form completed and on file at school, will cover the entire 2025-2026 school year. We are pleased to partner with Dr. Rocco to offer this economical option for all of our student athletes.
